Living with my partner and applying for rent allowance what should i do?

i lost my job 3mths ago and cant find anything since so i am applying for rent allowance,the forms ask if you are cohabiting and what there income is,should i tell the truth and say we are living together or say i am single as she is working and her income might effect my application

Answer:
If it is a roommate deal then go for the truth. But if it is a personal relationship you will need to tell the truth anyway. But the person may not want to tell what they make as it is none of there business.
