How can I raise money for a high school trip to Spain?

What would be a good way to raise some money for a school trip?

• So about a year from now, my school is having a trip to Europe for the 95th anniversary of the battle of Vimy Ridge. The price of the trip is going to be between 2 and 3 thousand dollars. I really want to go, but I have to pay for myself. What might be a good way for me to raise some money? Before you go yelling to get a job, I do have a babysitting job on the weekends and that's really all the time I have, but I don't know if that would be enough to raise thousands of dollars in a year. I was also thinking of doing something with a friend or suggesting something that all the students going could do to help eachother out. Any suggestions?

  Our school set up a snack stand after school so kids could by whatever after school we make about $100 a day soo that's a good way.
