I was offered a job 23 usd per hour is it woth it?
-
Hello, First Im from Mexico and was offered a Job at Upper Lake, in Lake County California. They offered me 23usd per hour, with up to 4 hours of over time per week. I will not be paying rent for the year im Staying, will only be paying food, light, gas, my own car because i will need one, and my wife and baby will go with me. The company told me they pay for everything and will get me the house is a little mobil house but i think its fine for a temporary job. They said the first year if i do good they can ask for another year and another one for up to 3 years. And if i do enough they will ask for the green card for me, they will help me. My question is is it worth it? like can we really live well for the amount of time we will be there and still save some money in case I dont get the green card? My baby is less than 1 year so I wont pay for school or anything like that. What do you think? I found out that there is really not a lot of things to do there so I really wont go out to spend money just a little bit on the weekends because I love to watch ppv events, and if im there I would like to go to a boxing match to las vegas once a year :P. Can anybody let me know if its worth it? Because in case I get the green card my wife can start working as well and between the two we can make up 70k per year.

$23/hour is decent and you should be able to live on that with paid rent. I don't know what you're giving up to do this, however.
$23 per hour and paid housing???? Do you have some special skill, eduction, or knowledge? Sounds too good to be true. US citizens with years of experience, education, licenses and certifications are not being paid $23 an hour. There are also US citizens standing in line for $10 an hour jobs. Why would an employer offer such a good pay plus housing to a non-citizen?
hello, I'm from the USA and I had to beg for a job in Southern Cali, that pays $9.00; what do you think you should do then? Would you rather get offered a high paying job or Have to beg for a low paying job?
