Incorrectly entered a bank of America cash deposit, how do I get correct amount? I went to the bank today to deposit cash into my savings account. I first put in $170 then decided to deposit some dollar bills to get them out of my wallet. For some reason the machine wouldn't accept the dollar bills and had me type in the amount I had deposited, but I thought it was referring to the amount of cash that had not gone through, and entered that amount. It completed my deposit but only added in the $6 that I had added to my initial deposit. I wasn't able to go in right away because it was Sunday and the bank was closed. How can I fix this?

Answer:
Call the bank. Ask them to make a note on your account that you made a mistake
