I was denied my unemployment benefits.

I was denied unemployment benefits but eligible for re-hire?

  • Why would i be denied benefits if they say that they would re-hire me, if i was a poor worker , why would u want to re-hire me , but i performed my job for two years never took a vacation and had enough sick days to use, they say i was late to work and called off of work too many times, but i lived on the property where i worked and performed my job, even if that was the case then why would they want to re-hire me and why would i be denied benefits, the job wrote on the separation paper yes eligible for re-hire, is that not saying he is a good worker and he performed his job ,that is why we would re-hire him

  • Answer:

I would try to fight the denial, but if the company has proof that you were repetitively late and called off a lot, that could be the reason to be let go and also the reason to not be eligible for unemployment benefits.

You are denied benefits because you have a job with your old company. So take it
