How do I know if my bank account is linked to Paypal yet? I have been waiting but my Paypal account is still $0.00, it's linked to my savings, does that have any effect? I heard that I have to transfer money from my bank account onto my Paypal, which had me really confused because I thought that transferring money costs money? Can someone help me? I really wanna make a purchase and I'm just waiting for something to change on my Paypal account, my account is linked and there is money in my account but my Paypal account is still $0?

I've been using Paypal for years. I generally pay with my bank account and my Paypal balance is almost always $0. I never transfer funds over ahead of time--I let Paypal withdraw the funds as I pay for things. No fees involved, no extra steps. Since I *also* have a credit card linked in, the sellers do not have to wait for an echeck to clear.
