How do I get money in and out of my PokerStars account?

How can i get my money out of a joint account with my mom? I'm turning 18 in 2 days and I have $1000 there?

  • my mother and i have a joint account with chevy chase...had it for a few yaers. in the past my checks were directly deposited to that account and she'd give me the cash. in august i opened a student account with pnc with my own money but now i want my money out of our joint account...she wont give it to me because she thinks i'll blow it on shopping but i want to add it on to my savings account with pnc. she wont listen so can i just go up to chevy chase and get it? she's never told me any of the account information though (like account/pin #) so idk...legally i'm entitled to that money though right? i saved it all of my senior year and i want MY money back now.

    I think your Mother knows best and you will be glad some day she kept you away from the money.Being as the acct has her as the primary holder i doubt you can ever get it back with out her permission.

Legally, money in a joint account belongs to both parties, so it is hers as much as yours.

If your signature is not on the signature card at the bank; then you are not the "owner" of the account and can not withdrew any of it. If your signature is on file with the bank the you can appear in person and withdraw all or any part of the money.
