I need help. I am behind on all my bills. My wife was out of work for medical reasons and is now back to work.?

Since I am not sure exactly what kind of debt you are looking at, its hard to answer your question, but I have some suggestions. I am not a financial professional, but I have experienced some serious debt. 1. Cut up all your credit cards. Don't use them no matter what. 2. Pay off the credit cards with the highest interest rate 1st. 3. Pay 1 credit card on time every month and pick the one with the highest interest rate. You may need a card in the future and if you stay in the good graces of the company, they will be good to you in the future. I know this because I did it. 4. Stop eating out. Learn to eat at home. 5. If you cannot afford your house payment or apartment, find somewhere cheaper to live. Move out and start living within your means. 6. Get rid of your extras such as cable tv, club memberships, book clubs, etc... 7. Get rid of your home phone and only use a cell phone. If you can buy pre paid and use it only if its absolutely necessary. Only have 1 cell phone. 8. Get a 2nd job. Maybe you could work a couple extra shifts at your current job and make more money instead of a 2nd job. 9. Cut down on utility bills. Shut off the lights, turn off the air conditioning, 10. Only use cheap hair stylist like at Smart Cuts or some place that offers cheap hair stuff at cheap prices. Please tell us where your debt is at and we can give your more suggestions
