How do i confirm my debit card with paypal?

Trying to confirm my Debit Card on Paypal?

I'm trying to link and verify my debit card through the process of them temporarily charging $1.95 so that the special 4-digit code shows up on my online banking statement so I can confirm everything. Anyways, I logged onto my bank and I saw that they've charged me but it doesn't show up as a 4-digit code, it has 8 digits? The transaction shows up as CHKCARDPP ******** NEUS. I tried using the first 4 numbers and the last 4 numbers but it doesn't work. So I'm confused, it says to wait 2-3 days for the code to show up, so does that mean will the statement change in a matter of time?

Yes. Paypal not reliable.. I do not like the transaction code.
