  • on my job application they ask what is the least amount of pay will i except. the range yearly is $24,250.00 to $29,500.00. I picken the 295.....did i pick right? If so what is $29,500.00 hourly?

  • Answer:

About $14 / hour. There are 52 weeks in the year - so divide first by 52. That gives you a number / week. Then they are 40 hours in a week, so you divide by that.

Pretty low. An average person works 2000 hours a year. 29,500/2000=14.75.

That depends on how many hours you are being paid to work. If you are a salaried employee then you would not be paid by the hour but perhaps by the week or bi-weekly or even monthly. If your work schedule says you will work 40 hours per week divide that into $29,500. If you are not supposed to be paid for overtime it would mean you are a salaried employee & not an hourly employee.

Come on, it depends how many hours you work. If you work 40 hours a week it works out to about $560 per week.
