    That's a good question, I can tell you that it does take longer for "good credit" to show up than "bad credit". You might need to wait 3-4 months for it to update. I paid off my car 6months into a 48month plan and it took them almost 6 months to make it show up.

Does unpaid back support show on your credit report? Paying it off probably won't do a thing to improve your score. The damage is done and will remain for the balance of the 7 year reporting period, just like any other defaulted debt.
