Will paypal charge me for refund into credit cards?

If I buy something from ebay (or any other shop) through paypal from a credit card, if the shop or ebay is giving me a refund, will paypal charge me fees? Will the money go back into the card or will it stay in paypal account? I find paypal daunting, they appear to charge fees for everything. If I paid by credit card directly, the shop would refund directly into the card, free of charges. My question is whether using paypal would mean that I will have to pay fees for receiving refund into my card. Please keep the answer jargon free and simple. I do not understand paypal at all, so there is little point making it complex with jargon. Thankyou in advance.

The money will go back into your PayPal account and they will not charge any fees as they only charge fees to the sellers who accept PayPal as a form of payment.

If the recipient actually uses the refund link in Paypal, the money will not have fees. If you used a credit card, it's refunded. If you used bank or debit card, it goes to your paypal account.
