How can I get cash on ebay by using a paypal?

I bought concert tickets on ebay using paypal, but the cash won't clear until after the show. HELP PLEASE!?

• I just bought tickets to a concert this Saturday night, August 29th on ebay from a seller using the recommended payment option "Paypal". However, ebay works in the way that the seller will not email me my tickets (as they are in email form to be printed, not physical form) until I have made a payment. The thing is I made the payment and sent it through Paypal, but paypal is telling me that the payment will not clear until September 1, 2009. Does this mean that the seller will not receive an email saying he/she got paid until September 1st, or does this just mean that he will not officially have the money in his account until that day, but has atleast received an email saying he has been paid and the funds with be available for withdrawal on September 1, 2009, sort of like a Master Prommisory note saying that his money is most definitely on the way. I hope not to confuse anyone, I was just looking for anyone who could provide any assistance or have been in a similar situation before. I do not want him or her to get the payment on Tuesday, and not receive the tickets for a show that is this Saturday. Any help on what to do would be greatly appreciated! Thank you!

  Hi Justin, Paypal is a nuisance like this but I can see why it does it. It's the same when it's holding money - until both parties have left feedback it wont release money. What I would advise is emailing the person you bought them from to explain, he should be able to see on his paypal account that you have made the payment & it just needs to clear with paypal - no longer anything to do with you. Ask him to check, and he should send them to you. If he doesn't, then he;s braking the rules as far as I can make out. Good luck, enjoy the concert!
