Where can you get a 'second chance' bank account?

Cant open a bank account due to chexsystem?

  • my name is jean im 19 years old and i was reported to chexsytem. i closed my accounr 3 years ago btt i didnt know that i have i debt with that bank, and they never send me a letter telling me that i have to pay, i find out when i tried to open a new account. i want to know how can i get a second chance ? should i sent a letter to the bank if they can forgive me or directly call the bank? .. please help me how to send a letter and how is the format. please a new a account asap i receive a check from college of 2000.00 $ for my education, they told to open an account and put it there but i cant due to chexsystem =/

    First work on blame, you cannot open account due to your negligence not cheksystem. 3 years ago does not make sense as you were only legally allowed a savings account. You can cash the check at the bank where the check is from for a fee. Also over 2 years you can open a savings account so something else is going on

Either pay the debt or find a bank that does not participate in the ChexSystem. Don't expect the bank to forgive the debt if there's any chance of them collecting on that debt.

you either find a bank not in the system(hardly likely) or pay off the debt you owe. don't think about entertaining forgiveness, doesn't happen.
