Are "Prop Store" items original?

Will the store once upon a child, buy baby items with cash or for store credit only?

  • I have a few baby items that I would like to sell. I heard of this partticular store and would like to see if they will buy them. ive never been there before and would like cash for my items but.i heard someone say they might only hive store credit. does anyome know if they offer cash for items rather tjan store credit?

  • Answer:

You'll only be offered a store credit and it will only be for a tiny amount. Used baby clothes have no value and you would probably get only $.20-$.25 cents per item- maybe less. You'll make more money selling them yourself on eBay. Sell them in groups of 4-5 pieces per group. Most used baby clothes sellers would expect to get $2-$3 dollars for the group. A lot depends on the label and the condition of the items. You'd be lucky to make enough to buy a Happy Meal at Mickey D's.

They pay you for your items in cash. You can opt for store credit, I believe, but it is your choice (I think store credit gets you a slightly higher amount than cash).

They will do store credit or money, which ever you like. If they buy more than $25 worth they will write you a check or do store credit. If they buy less than $25 they will do store credit or give you cash on the spot. They will write you the check right on the spot but then you'll have to take it to the bank to deposit it yourself. I personally love this store for buying items but not so much selling. They don't pay well ($0.25-$1 for most clothing items) and they are picky about what they will and will not take. Make sure none of the clothes you take in have stains, tears, or holes in them or they won't accept them. Name brand clothing also sells for more than clothing from Wal-Mart or somewhere like that. They don't accept baby socks or bottles, unless the bottles are unopened and in the package. Also, if they have a lot of the size you are wanting to sell in stock already they normally won't buy your items (or a lot of them) and if they do buy them they normally give you less money. They are normally pretty full when it comes to the smaller sized clothing (0-6 months). You should be sure to take items that are in season as well. Don't take summer clothes in during the winter or they won't buy the items or will pay you even less for them than they normally would. My sister took in a whole bin of clothes and a baby swing and out of all of it they took the swing and 21 clothing items. In total, they paid her $12 for the whole batch. She bought the swing from them actually and paid $49 for it! And none of the clothes were stained or holes or tears in them and most of them were name brand as well.
