Is Shelton Credit a SCAM?

Craig's list credit score scam, or not? I just applied for a few jobs on craig's list...?

  • Got a couple of replies, one of them I know for sure is a credit report scam because they want me to do it online. The other one said it wanted me to bring my credit score along with my resume to an informal interview. Do you think that's still a scam?

    Legitimate employers do not ask you to bring a credit report. If they do credit checks, the pull the reports themselves and only if they are seriously considering offering you a position. There is absolutely no reason to bring a credit report with you. It's a scam.

yes its a scam. all those guys are wanting you to do is click the link they attached in hopes you will complete the offer whatever it is. if you do complete it, they will receive an affiliate commission for directing you to that site. i love clist but all of the scams that go with it!!

Never click on any link or bring a credit report to any initial interview. If the employer wants a credit check it only costs them $3 to do one Until you are at the interview and see their offices you have no idea if they are legit or not, and do you really want to hand over a credit score to anybody until you are absolutely sure you want to work with them and have a firm job offer?
