******PAYPAL QUESTION*******(((NEED HELP ASAP!!!)))....~PLS. READ!!~...10 Pts!!!?

If I have a limited Paypal account with a negative balance of $1,600, when they send it to collections what should I say in response as a dispute to get them off my back? All of my personal info. is removed from the paypapl account and the attached bank account used to verify it is closed, but I know the info is still on file with them and they will most likely send the collection letters in the mail. I am going to write in response that the debt is invalid, not verified, and to provide documented proof that I owe money to Paypal. Also to provide me with a copy of a signed executed credit agreement showing my signature.(WHICH PAYPAL DOES NOT HAVE) And, validation of the alleged debt. Will this stop them from pursuing this debt they say I owe and leave me alone or will they spend the time/$$$ to provide proof that money is owed to Paypal by me. Also, will they take this to court even if they don't have anything identifying me except my name and a p.o. box (no s.s. or home address) and what if i put return to sender on the letters? If I was ordered to court and returned the letter via the mail, their is no proof I recieved it... 10 PTS FOR DETAILED RESPONSE THAT HELPS ME MOST!!! :)

Answer:
Did you read the fine print when you opened the Pay Pal acct in the first place? Sorry just because they don't have yr signature doesn't wash in the 'on-line world'. If the debt is legitimate, trust me Pay Pal will come after you, or worse on-sell yr debt which will increase. Plus it will go on yr Credit Report. I hope you don't want a car loan, credit card or home loan in the future as you'll have a big black X next to yr name. If you bought goods then pay for them, organize a payment plan. Things will only get worse.

If you keep refusing the mail, they'll eventually get a court officer to wait for you at the Post Office and serve you in person. You're legally obligated to pay this bill that YOU incurred. Lying and hiding from it will only make things worse. The interest and fines are piling up and the chances of having your pay garnished are growing greater with each day you let this go. What did you spend $1600 on? Can you sell it again and recoup some of the money you owe?
