How can i remove a tax lien from my credit report?

  • The state of missouri place a tax lien against me, even though the business never opened. And i did what the clerk told me. They have it as released and paid, when i never paid it. They said they would take it out because they saw It as a mistake but it on my credit report.

Do you have a letter from Missouri stating that they were going to remove it, if so send this to the credit reporting company registered mail. If not, get a letter from Missouri stating that they do not have a tax lien against you.

Send proof of the release to the credit bureaus.
