How safe is it to make an ebay payment through paypal?

i want to order some stuff on ebay and one of the payment methods is paypal but how safe is it im new to ebay so i really don't know can they steal my money? if they do can they refund it?

It's 100% safe. And they only refund if they say they do!

PayPal is very safe when used in conjunction with eBay because of all the restrictions on sellers. Just make sure the seller has a good feedback rating. It's not quite as secure outside of eBay...there are very few controls and PayPal doesn't do a very good job of confirming sellers' identities. They prefer to make the sign-up process easier instead of safer. I would only pay for something with PayPal if I already knew and trusted the company/person that I was sending money to.

Paypal is very safe and secure lots of people use it around the world. and if a payment goes wrong or you want a refund just contact the supplier or Paypal.
