How could I make a PayPal account work for me w/o a bank account or credit?

Hello, Because of bad credit, I don't have credit cards, and for a long period of time, I will not have a bank account. Having a account in my home country (U.S.) will not be an option. I will be traveling in foreign countries and I'm not even sure I could open a bank account (what would it take for me to open a bank account in say, Italy, or some other EU country?). I will be doing online work and so I'm wondering how I could be paid from my clients using PayPal. The only option I see----without credit and a bank account----is to transfer my PayPal account balance to someone I trust who also has a PayPal account and just have him pay me. Is this even possible? Does that sound about right? Any other options, including finding a way to open a bank account abroad? Thanks in advance.

why couldbt you have bank account in the US? just because you are traveling?
