How to transfer money from visa prepaid card to paypal?

  • I am wondering if i am able to transfer my money from my visa prepaid debit card to my paypal. i have my paypal connected to an mastercard debit card and a visa credit card, but i have $200 in prepaid cards that i'd like to spend first. So, how do i put that money on paypal? From what i understand, i have connect the prepaid card to the account. if i do this, will it bill me to my address or just use the money off the card? Thank you!

    Is your card a prepaid gift card that you can buy at Walmart or CVS Pharmacy?. If so, then the card is not connected in any way to an physical home address or bank account.. Therefore, PAYPAL, will not link a gift card, prepaid card, or one-time-use card to your PayPal account....To link your card to your PayPal account, you need the billing address on your card statement must match the address on your PayPal account. Buy the Amereican Express prepaid gift card. Then call AMEX customer service and have them add your name and address to the card. That should be enough information Paypal will need when they the verification process the card matches home mailing address and let you link the card to your Paypal account.
