How do I order with a American Express Card off of Amazon.com?

Alright everyone I want to order something off amazon.com. So my aunt gave me a 100$ american express card for christmass and she also gave me a 50$ amazon card. I ordered something that was below 50$ however it wants me to put in a credit card or some other type of ordering fee. I wanted to use my american express card however I have two questions. First i'm assuming amazon will take it as a credit card. second if it a credit card it wants a cardholder's name witch i don't know who that is use my name? I don't want to get involved with the bank if they though i was cheating or somethng thanks for the help

yes it should accept the American Express Gift Card as a regular credit card. It should have the same number of digits as a real American Express credit card along, with an expiry date. Just put your real name and address and everything else. If it doesn't work, contact Amazon customer care and ask them what the problem is. Good luck.
