Im 17 and I used my friends credit card With out His Permission but I didn't steal the card he gave me the info for the card before to buy some things on xbox live, playstation network and Steam. But the situation im in right now is that i used my friends credit with out his permission . now hes mad at me and just wants to end the friend-ship Which doesnt matter anymore cause hes a douche but I have some things that he bought for me for getting good grades and for other reasons but now hes asking for them back and im refusing. This is something he sent to me "here is a list of the property i am requesting back from minor *****. His refusal or otherwise to return any of the property listed here-in may lead me to file criminal charges against him. Can he call the cops and get me in trouble for not returning the items and for using his credit card without permission? i have people that know he bought them for me so can i use them as proof? As for the credit card. What is the worst that can happen to me? or is there a way could fight it since i didnt steal the card? Im willing to pay him back with little payments. I Need Help .

Answer:
USING SOMEONE'S CREDIT CARD WITHOUT PERMISSION ***IS*** STEALING. You broke the law. You're a criminal *and* an idiot. Give him back the property he bought for you. If you're breaking up with him, why would you want to keep it anyway? Do whatever it takes to prevent him from suing you for the money you stole.

As for the stuff he gave you, those are considered gifts and belong to you. You have the right to keep them, he cannot legally request the items back. For the credit card, what you did is theft. You should try to work something with him. Even if he calls the cops on you, I don't think you will goto jail or anything, not over a few bucks. Worst thing that can happen is he sue you in small claims court for a few bucks thats not worth the trouble at all. Just work it out with him. If you are worried about the law, don't sweat it, no cop will take you two seriously over a minor argument about chump change.
For the times you had authorization, it wasn't stealing. As soon as you did it without authorization, you stole. Pay him back ASAP, or you can go to jail for larceny.
You have fraudulently used his card - you are going to fry in the chair Sonny.
Actually no one can give permission to use "their" card because the card is owned by the issuer. Unauthorized use of credit is a felony and punishable by up to 5 years in jail and 25K in fines. If you are being threatened with legal actions then it is time to get a lawyer to write up an out of court settlement so that no further claim can be made.
sorry but you are a dirty thief
