What is a purchase charge on a gift card?

OVERSPENT a visa gift card online? What will happen? HELP 10 Points!!?

  • I was purchasing an order from Victoria's secret and i wanted to charge a vanilla visa gift card for 20$ cause that is all that was on the card. I tried to put it under gift card but the site only accepted Victoria's secret gift cards so i put it under credit with the full intention of adding another payment method. i clicked send and realized i charged a 20$ gift card for an 80 dollar purchase!..... I didn't buy this gift card it was a present from a friend and after reading many discussions i see that it say that it will bill me the over draft, but will it bill my friend cause she bought the card with her credit card.... will it even bill anyone.... or will Victoria's secret or visa send me an email for a different payment option. I don't want to cause my friend any trouble.... so what do i do.... just sit and what or should i be contacting the companies regarding my purchase....
