Where can I get a Starbucks application online?

Are job companies like McDonalds, Dollar Gnrl, or Starbucks required to interview every application they get?

  • I have been looking for a job for a while now and I know it's tedious and I had a question about the whole process. I have applied to Dollar General and a bookstore here in town and when I was filling out the application they say what times you are available. I'm a full time student so I could only work from 2pm-whenever, I just need the mornings for school. After waiting a couple of weeks I get a call and get the interview. I go to the interview and everything goes well and then the manager says that they aren't looking for anyone to work the night shift. If i wrote my schedule on the application, why would they call me to drive across town just so they could tell me that. This happened to me twice and it's not really comforting. So, are companies like these required to call you even if you're not qualified? I heard they get more funding if they show proof of applications? I don't know, to be honest.

  • Answer:

"job companies"?? No, a company is not required to interview every applicant. The whole point of an application is to narrow down the list to those who should be interviewed. More funding? Who told you that? Companies do not get funding from anyone except their customers.
