A question about ebay return.

Ebay return question?

  • Hi,everyone im having a problem with my buyer, cause he want's a money return and how can i return the money to them thru paypal?

  • Answer:

If it is a refund, just go to the transaction in your paypal history and click on it. There will be a tab for issuing a refund and you can give a full or partial refund to the customer from there. Paypal will credit you back whatever part of the fee they charge you for that transaction or the portion of it. If he wants money back without returning the merchandise to you, explain to him that the merchandise must be returned to you before you can issue the refund...............just like if they were returning a product to Walmart, Target, Kmart, Sears, the grocery store and any other retail establishment. Don't get suckered into giving back the money before getting the product back. There are quite a few crooked buyers out there that like to make a purchase, then complain, and then demand their money back and will then just keep the product. As a previous long term eBay seller I will tell you.......they are out there. If you have to, escalate the issue to Paypal if your buyer has already opened a dispute with them.
