What do you write when you send your resume out in an email?

Should I send my cover-letter and resume via email or snail mail?

  • I'm 22 and This is my first time trying to get a job just to have some experience in working and to make a few bucks. I don't have any connections and don't have much experience in anything really and want to impress the employer as much as I can so that I increase the likeliness of getting the job. I'm in college so i guess that's a plus and I have accomplished a couple of things there, not to mention I've done an internship but nothing I think is relevant. I more-so experienced at computers but I'm applying more-so at places like retail, register, and waitressing because those are the jobs more-so available than office work so I would be grateful if you have any additional tips. but anyway, I was wondering should I send my cover letter and resume by email or traditional mail? I was told that I would have to print on decorative paper if I send it traditionally and I don't know if sending by email would insure that the employer would read it, much less how to find the email address.. again, any tips would be great.

  • Answer:

It doesn't matter for you. The first few lines of your question are so negative that no one will hire you. You had better find something positive about yourself or you will never find a job. And forget decorative paper. Thise are the first resimes I threw out without reading. Employers want workers not fru-fru cutesy dolls.
