When will Target have the 75% off Christmas items?

Target corprate is scamming me?

• I bought a few x box gaming systems from target for Christmas, and deciced to return them for a refund. I bought the xbox for $317 and some change and they gave me a giftcard with $80.00 as a promotion.the recipe says if I return all the items back unopened they will give me a full refund of 299 plus the tax which is $317 I called the customer service at target to make sure they would refund the 80 gift card also and the lady told me yes. They wouls as long as the money was still on the card. So I went to return them and gave them all the x boxes along with the gift cards and the lady told me they couldent give me a refund for the gift cards and they could only refund Only the xboxs and they would only give me back $250 out of the $317 I paid for each unit. So I called the corporate office to find out why the lady would not refund the gift cards as well since I paid for them. And the guy nate from guest services from the corperate herd my story and told me he dident see why she couldent return the gift cards. Then he put me on hold, and called the tore manager from the target store I was at and she told him that the reson why she dident return the gift cards was that there was no money on the cards. Which was a lie because I had told the return clerk to scan the cards to make sure there was money on the cards before any thing. And she told me that the gift cards all had $80 on them the guy nate from corporate got back on the line and told me there was nothing he could do to assist me and couldent give me any valid answers. I told him he can check the balance and the cards himself and he said he couldent help me. I need some legal advice, what can I do at this point. I am not going to let target walk all over me without out and valid resons! Any advice is welcome.

  Gift Cards are usually non-refundable and I don't think that companies legally have to either.
