If you work in Kroger, how many hours do part-timer work?

How do pay raises work at Kroger?

  • I work at one in Kentucky and I already know it is a ten cent increase every 400 hours but do you get a raise for learning register, switching departments( i.e front end to grocery) or for every year spent employed there? (Also, I know this is may sound absurd but is there any way I can reject some union benefits I don't need for a higher salary? I know the answer is probably no but it's worth a shot)

  • Answer:

A company like Kroger's should have an "employee policy handbook", you can ask for one if you didn't get one when you were hired. You can also find the info. in the union pamphlets about benefits & raises etc.
