How to use amazon to buy things?

ok so ive never bought anything off the internet. How do u buy things from amazon.com do i need a credit card(which i don't have). Do i need a giftcard and if so where do i buy the giftcards??? Please help

I just recently bought my prom dress from Amazon (the sizing was way off if you're looking at clothing btw)... But we had to pay by credit card. I do believe you can pay by gift card as well though. You might be able to find out where to buy them from their website of even google. Or you could always ask someone to put it on their credit card and just pay them cash (that's what I did).
