What is the best CB radio and antenna?

I drive a 2004 Toyota tundra and thought about putting a Aluminum Truck Tool Box in the area closest to the window(you know, like where most truck tool boxes are). Then I thought about attaching the antennas to each side of the tool box, on the ends. I live in a condominium so the antenna needs to either be flexible, a maximum height of 3ft, or I can see if I can park on top of the garage and have the height as high as I want..

Two antennas would look cool, but would do nothing to help your signal. Also keep in mind that the ground plane needs to be as flat as possible. If it's mounted on the tool box directly behind the cab, the cab frame would come up right alongside the radiating element and this will affect transmission line loss (SWR). You get better current distribution with a helically wound coil (like a Firestik) so I would use that. I'd say get the longest Firestick that will fit your needs.
