How do you build a go kart kit?

Where would i be able to find a diesel engine for my go-kart n some sort of adapter thing to use used grease?

• My class (just 9) are being put to the test by the county school board and want us to build a go-kart that runs on alternate fuel.( i know right) so we decided to use french fry grease. we need a small diesel engine n an adapter kit. Our speed limit is 40mph. Soooooo thanks

  look for a mower engine that has a power take off or call pto,then change it over to a driver clutch,like a snowmobile runs.
