Best car to use for a drag race?

Can i be a professional drag car racer?

  • could i get paid to race classic drag cars? could i make it a career? or could i be a classic car racer? how much does it cost to make a decent classic car like a chevy chevelle so i can use it for drag racing

    About the closest you could come to a career with a Chevelle would be to become a touring bracket racer, hitting big money meets like the $5K to win they ran at my local strip last weekend. Need a good tow vehicle, a big-block and PowerGlide with a trans brake and delay box in your Chevelle, add a double-axle enclosed trailer. If you've got starting line talent, you could be livin' the life...... I just do it as a hobby.
