Would it be worth it to get an additional car note on a car with better gas mileage?
-
I currently drive a Tahoe MINIMUM 50 miles per day which I calculated to equal MINIMUM $230 a month in gas. This is just going to and fro work not including weekend activity or going to the store during the week, etc. My husband is currently driving his truck minimum 100 miles per day...which totals about $400 a month in gas. His driving this distance may just be for another month or two. I need opinions on whether or not its worth it to buy a smaller car like a corolla and get a $200 car note. And probably paying $100 in gas. Is it even worth it? I don't know what to do. I need suggestions/ideas/opinions...not trying to make a dumb move that will cost me even more money when I am trying to save money.
