Money--Money!! 4" lift, Front Drive/Steering Axle, Transfer Case & Short Drive Shaft for Front Drive Axle, New Shocks & Struts for a 4x4, New Heavy Duty Steering Box (4X4), Etc. [Like Said, Save Money, Buy a 4X4?]

not to mention the ECM and one piece engine/transmission/transfercase wiring harness. and matching pin and ring gears for both axels. it is just not worth the trouble. But that is just my opinion.

You will need to buy an identical vehicle to yours, but with a 4 wheel drive system installed as standard. You will then need to swap the drive-train over gearbox, diff, transfer box, driveshafts, hubs etc. After that you will need to declare it to you vehicle licensing authority and insurance. So it probably will be cheaper (and a damn sight cheaper) to buy a used 1995 Isuzu Rodeo.
