Ways I can learn how to drive?

• I'm 17 and want to learn how to drive. I got a driver's handbook and read only 7 & 1/2 pages. I hate reading. My uncle was going to teach me at first before I got the handbook, but my dad told him he can't teach me. I can't take Driver's Ed at school due to transportation on how I need to get home. What are ways can I learn how to drive?...(websites, etc.)

  Well you have to take Driver's Ed unless you wait until you are 18 to get your license. As far as learning how to drive, your parents should be able to teach you. It's not hard once you get behind the wheel. However, in order to get your license, you have to pass a test that asks you a lot of questions that you won't know unless you read the handbook, like how far away from the turn do you have to put on your blinker, what certain signs mean, how far behind a car you're supposed to be, which way to point your tires while parking on a hill ETC. If you don't want to read the handbook, there are plenty of tests online that you can take to practice and learn the answers. Just search on google for them.
