Where can you find the financial records of companies?

My car towed and no records of it?

• I was at work and My neighbor called me stating there was a Hialeah Police departmnt car outside where my car was parked. There was also a tow truck, My car was towed for not having a Tag, This was a vehicle that was recently purchased cash and parked on the street. When I got home that evening I called to find out where I can pick up the car and the police department said they have no records of that vehicle ever being picked up, I also called several towing co. and they dont have any records either. I have continuously called several times to the towing companies and police dept and still to date no records of it ever being towed. This was a Dodge Dakota 1992. Car was not in "tip top" conditions where anybody would want to steal it.. What can I do?

  Upon finding out no police ordered it towed, and no towing company admits to towing it, I'd call the police and report a stolen truck. I hope you had it insured. If so, call your agent and tell him it was stolen. The police should make a report of it based on what you describe to them. This will be necessary in order to get your insurance company to pay. But from what you said, you bought it with cash and parked it on a street with no license plate, I hope you have something in writing to prove you own it, You needed to get it registered the day you purchased it.
