What mistakes do they look for when taking an Oklahoma driving test?

Taking my driving test in about a week and im SUPER scared!!?

  • I live in florida and im taking the test to get my license. ive had my permit for a year now and next tuesday is the big day !! im so nervous, could anyone please give me some really good tips and advice on what to do ?! (im taking it AT the dmv parking lot) THANKS SO MUCH !! heres a list of what im going to have to do.. thanks! The Florida Driving Test Below is a list of the maneuvers you will have to perform in Florida driving test. Turn About Turn you car around in a 30 to 40 foot space. This is historically known as a three point turn. Shifting Gears If your car is manual shift you must be able to shift smoothly. Parking Park you car in a straight in parking spot. You should be centered in the parking spot. No more parallel parking test. Stop Quickly Driving at 20 MPH you are expected to make a quick and safe stop when the tester tells you to stop. Backing Up You will be asked to backup for 50 feet at a slow speed. You should turn your head and look to the rear not use the rear view mirror. Stop Signs You will be expected to come to a complete stop and use your turn signals to indicate if you are turning. Then you are expected to proceed into the intersection only when it is safe. Signal and Turn Get into the correct lane and signal that you are turning for 100 feet before you turn. Stay in the Correct Lane Drive in the right lane except on a one-way street. Only change lanes if it is safe

    Can you perform EVERYONE of these manuvers perfectly by yourself? If you know this inside out and upside down then don't worry about it. As a matter of fact the night before the test, kick back with some friends, have a few cold ones, and DON'T THINK ABOUT IT. If you can honestly say you can't do this perfectly then get out there and keep practicing. When you get with the tester you WILL be nervous but you will be less likely to make any fatal flaws if you are SURE of your abilities.

Be calm, that is the key. There's no need to get nervous, everyone has to take a road test. The more nervous u are, the more likely u are gonna fail. You know how to do everything right so just trust yourself. Everything that u have to do is very simple and i have to say tht u are very lucky u dont have to parallel park.

I live in Goergia, and we still have to parallel park! No fair! I took my test about 7 months ago. Honestly, just try to relax. If you're tense, you're a worse driver! I was, at least. Think about it this way: iIf you fail, you can just laugh and go back the next week. If you pass, great! Just be sure you've practiced everything, at the DMV in their parking lot if you can. Use a car that you're familiar with. Here, we always try to use the smallest car so we can parallel park it, haha. Ask your friends who've already taken the test and they can sometimes tell you the route you'll have to drive and what you'll need to do, and they can give you tips on things to watch out for. Just focus on your driving and the road. Also, it really shows the person testing you that you're aware if you check your rear view mirror regularly and scan up and down and across the road. (Exaggerate it slightly so they can tell you're doing it! Don't just move your eyes, move your head a bit. But don't make it look stupid, haha!) Use two hands on the wheel and try to stop smoothly and don't wait until the last second to brake. Also, be sure to use your blinker, even in the parking lot! And watch for "no turn on red" signs. There's one on the route we take, and it's caught a few of my friends.
