Can i transfer a NJ learners permit to a PA learners permit?

I just moved to Pennsylvania from New Jersey. I'm sixteen and i have had my NJ learners permit for about six months. Somebody told me i can just go get my PA drivers license now, but i'm not sure. What can i do with my NJ permit, and can i use it in Pennsylvania? What should i do?

You should be asking this question at the Pennsylvania DMV office, not wasting your time with Yahoo Answers. If you would have picked up the telephone and called your local Pennsylvania DMV office you would know the correct answer by now.
