Do i have to pay for another license?

License suspended for over 10 years, can I just pay suspension and get license back?

  • I have had, or should I say I got my license when I was 16. I have gotten a few infractions (16 misdermeanors charges). My license was actually taken from in 1997 for a moving infraction (insurance). So the other day I went on NYS DMV.com and found that there was still a suspension charge and I paid it ASAP. So I guess my question is what do I do now? Can I go and get my license back? Do I have to do it all over again?

  • Answer:

16 misdemeanor charges???? You and the other drivers in the state of NY are safer that you don't have it.

You should have asked the people at the DMV while you were there.

16 misdemeanors charges? Talk about a career choice... Regardless of payment...Your license may not be cleared...There might be other 'actions' required by you to reinstate your license

This is going to be one of those dick answers I hate getting, but maybe you should just quit driving. And who gave you a license in the first place, lol.

Wow 10 years? they probably only suspended it for a year at most, but you chose to wait 10 years. your either a humanitarian and felt the safety of others outweighed your need to drive. or your just not very good at keeping your affairs in order.
