What is type of the road?

Does it matter what type of car I take to my road test?

  • So I scheduled my road test and I was wondering if examiners prefer a type of car over another. I may go with the driving school I attend but if not I have a Toyota corolla and a Toyota rav4 personally I can drive them both but I love the rav4. However for te sake of taking the test should I pick one over the other? Thanks

    Honesty I'd pick the car easier for parking which clthey can fail u on but just when ur doing it don't forget to go slow always use blInkers and just ad like ur doing checks in the car before u take off like mirrors and crap they like to see that oh and pay attention to signs they got me on that I still passed on the first try by I got worried but as long as ur composed ull do good act like ur driving with a friend but just be a technical driver I'm sure ull pass its not hard like some people make it out to be. Ps. I had three choices dodge 1500, jeep grand Cherokee, and my Chevy Malibu car is usually the most reliable in the first place

Its your decision to choose the vehicle you will use for the test. Choose the one you are the most comfortable in. Be careful to choose the one that will be easiest for passing the parallel curb parking part of the test.

Honestly, no it doesn't matter, but I would say choose the car you can maneuver better. If you can drive both of them equally, then I would say the next choice should be the smallest car. In Texas (where I live), in order to pass the driving test you have to be able to parallel park. So the smaller the car, the easier it will be to parallel park it.
