Best way to wash my car by hand?

• i enjoy washing my car by myself but i cant seem to find a way to get rid of the water streaks...no matter how fast i try to do it...any tips or suggetions?

  my procedure using a garden hose at normal house pressure. 1. vehicle should be cool and in the shade 2. a) 1 bucket method: fill bucket with water and soap b) 2 bucket method uses 2 buckets both filled with soap and water, 1 is used to rinse/clean the rag, the other is used to pick up clean soap.. you want to clean the dirt and grime out of your rag, while washing frequently to prevent mud or dirt in the rag from scratching the paint. 3. I use a nice kinda thicker style micro-fiber rag to wash the car. 4. Before washing car, rinse as much dirt and grime off the car. 5. Thoroughly wet the car 6. Wash sections at a time starting at the top and work down. 8. While washing in sections thoroughly keep car wet, to prevent drying and water spots. 9. When finished washing. I use a chamois to dry the car. I think you can use a 'terry' cloth also. Drying car by hand prevents spots. Now would be a good time to wax.
