What are the gases used in electric lights?

The dash and tail lights on my Kia Rio went out whenever I used the turn signal...?

• My dashboard lights and tail lights are not working when the lights are switched on. It started with only going out for 30 or so seconds when i would use the turn signal, now they are completely out. The brake lights, turn signals, head lights and clock/radio have been working just fine. I checked fuses and relays.. What else should i check? I have an 04 Kia Rio with only 67000mi
