What is the mileage of Hero Honda Pleasure?

Do i need to get engine oil changed on every service for my Hero Honda Pleasure?

  • I own a Hero Honda Pleasure, i have got one free service done and about to go for 2nd free service. i got the engine oil changed during first service. Do i need to get it changed this time also. How frequently do we need to get engine oil changed?

  • Answer:

hi when a car is new the cars today still polish there internal parts with metal surfaces rubbing next to each other during this process small metal particles leave one surface and get into the oil. so regular oil and filter changes are Essential other wise these small pieces of metal are retained and cause extra wear to the engine so a regular change of oil is needed. this is why so many end up in the scrap yard years ahead of when they should have, due to skin flint previous owners who quibble about maintenance and the cost of servicing

First it matters how frequently u use ur bike..! It is necessary to change engine oil for the first service because when v purchase a bike or car or automobile, its engine is not at all soft, I mean to say some material (burr) remains on the parts of engine.. So as we use our bike for the first week or month the all burr mixes with engine oil & engine becomes soft. So it is necessary to change engine oil for first servicing.. After some days engine oil burns out n u hav to change it after a year or so..!

Depend on driving conditions, city more often, If you use a good quality oil change both oil and oil filter every 4000miles or 5000kilometers and you'll be fine.

About every 3000 miles or so

The old recommendation for vehicles was to have oil changes every 3000 miles, but newer cars recommend longer intervals, some up to 5,000 miles. Check in your car manual for the recommended mileage for an oil change, or ask the dealer what they recommend. Don't just ask anyone, ask specifically for your vehicle - most people still think the 3,000 rule still applies and it's no longer considered the rule for all vehicles.
