  • I scratched the bumper on my 2007 Ford Focus zx4 backing out of a tight spot and it's too deep for just a paint job How much will a new bumper cost? and to get it in the right colour, or repainted in the right colour? It has to be dark grey.

    $300 - $350 - painting and installation in small shop. Call body shop warehouse - they have bumpers for around $100. Body shop will charge you $300-400 for the same bumper. replaced rear bumper in Mercury Villager and Mercury Grand Marquis - twice and once in Lexus GS300.

The only way for you to know for sure is to take your car to a shop in your area and get a real estimate, they should give you one for free. You will never get an accurate estimate on here. Just because you think it is too deep for just paint does not mean it can't be repaired. It would be much cheaper to repair the bumper you have than buy a new one. The only way to know if it is repairable is to have a trained estimator look at it.

well a new bumper comes in black primer so you will need to get it repainted and that would cost around $150, and the bumper shouldnt be more than $120, go to www.car-part.com and search local jumkyards for a bumper thats the exact color as your car, you might find it for $100. good luck
