Why does Honda FIT 2011 dashboard rattle on driver's side when going over bumps?

  • Still trying to figure this one out. Car only 3 months old. Can find nothing loose; still rattles no matter if vents open or shut. A,J suggests adding more screws. Where? I am not savvy when it comes to car mechanics. Driving me nuts!

    It may not be the dashboard at all. It may be something loose left behind during assembly. But, it is not your job to identify nor to repair this car. Take it back to the dealer and explain the situation and leave the car with them so they can take the dashboard out and find out what is in there. Warranty work is free. Your time may not be. BUT it must be done. This rattle must be annoying and besides you do not what is rattling or what kind of damage may be in this area. Take it back. Best of luck.
