How big would self sufficient system be?

Can i put a Remote key less entry system in my car? and how easy would it be to put in my car my self?

    I think your car needs to have power locks for it to work. If it does it should work.

Well as Garrett didn't read the question at all i'll help you. Yes you should be able to put a keyless entry device on your car. Go to bestbuy.com or somewhere similar and check out their stuff, they have a neat little feature on there that tells you what stuff is compatible with your vehicle. To avoid confusion though, you should just call it keyless entry. It comes with a wireless key fob that you use to open your car with.

It would be a tremendous waste of money and will not add value to your car when you try to resell it. Use the moeny to put a down payment on a new car with a keyless remote which still is a waste of money.

Key-less Entry as in locking/unlocking, most cars can have one. if you want remote start, it has to be automatic because the neutral safety switch is the park gear, as opposed to clutch down to the floor for manual. Remote starts easier to install than a key-less entry I believe. You can get a DYI at Advance Auto.
