How to repair a leaking boat?

Shop charged me a high amount for boat repair.?

• what do i do if a shop charged me an extreme amount of money to repair my boat? I told them the boat ran hot and i wanted to repair the water pump! they called and told me that the compression was good so they flushed the engine out and it will be ok. about three months later they called me a bill for 12 hours labor at $85 per hour for changing some wires and flushing the engine, and a million misc charges. I told them this was not the agreement and why didn't they get my approval. they told me that , that was the charges and they couldn't do anything about it. i send them a response saying that i would pay them 6 hours labor and the other charges and i would pick up my boat. they in return sent ma another bill for all the charges plus 600.00 in storage fee plus 637.96 in collection fees. what can i do. i never agreed to any of this in the first place.
