How do i become a audi/vw or bmw master mechanic?

  • i would like to become a master tech on audi/vw or bmw's. i know i could attend a school like uti for the bmw training but is there alternative or better way to become a master tech on bmw cars? as for the audi and vw, i can not find a school for there training. could anyone help me find info on schools for there tech training? Audi's and vw's are what i am most interested, but bmw is another car that i like alot. so if anyone could help me out with this i would appreciate it.

    Ha. You don't select who employs you they select you. Go to an ASE school and don't jerk around and you'll get a job if you know what you're doing. If you plan to be a book/scanner mechanic forget it right now...there are enough shitty mechanics in the US. There are no apprenticeships in the US.

You start your apprenticeship at a vw/bmw shop. You'll start as the shop beach cleaning stuff and passing tools. As you go thru the years of school and do more and more things at the shop from wheel alignments then to brakes then to engine work and drivetrain work and so on. Climing your way up the ladder. Keeping in mind a "master technician" is able to work on any automobile. Get certifed by ASE . Nothing makes you feel like you got the power than wearing their ASE certified badges. good luck Hmm im talkin from a canadian view.
