Things to look for when buying a used powerstroke?

I am looking at buying a 1999 ford f-250 powerstroke diesel. regular cab. the truck has 332,000 miles. i am wondering if there are certain things i should look at before purchasing this truck. DO NOT TELL ME THAT ITS A BAD IDEA CAUSE OF THE MILES. thats not my question. its a diesel and its not my first diesel pickup with high miles. i was just wondering if there is certain things about the turbo and injectors and lifter pump and ect... i should look at

It should not blow any white smoke when running.It should also sound smooth.Besides that, you want lots of maintenance records to prove the guy took care of it.Don't worry too much about the mileage if it was well taken care of.Diesels are known for going a long long time. If the guy doesn't have records, move on.That is the most important point.Even if it looks and sounds great, if he can't prove he changed the oil, and had everything else taken care of, you don't want it.
